Kindergarten Class

• Homework is to be returned daily except on Mondays

• Monthly Reading Log due at the end of the month to earn a Pizza Hut coupon if completed and signed by a parent or guardian

• Practice ABC flashcards, number cards, and word cards

• Use individual game boards sent home to practice shapes, colors, days of the week, months, and letter sounds

• It is important to sit with your child to help with correct letter formation for name writing and homework

• Try to set aside time each day to read to your child and to discuss what he/she is learning at school

• Practice all high frequency words

• Practice writing 1 to 3 sentences using correct spacing, capital letter at the beginning of each sentence, and punctuation at the end
