The following is some information and helpful hints for the class.
* Please make sure that you work with your students every night on their sight words. I test the students on their sight words every Friday. As soon as the students learn all of their words and get their "pink scoop" they will get an ice cream from me.
* Please read with your child nightly and fill out the monthly reading log. The students who read 20 books and return their completed reading log will earn a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.
* Homework is sent home Monday thru Thursday. Please make sure the homework is completed and returned the following day in the homework folder. All homework is to be done in pencil unless otherwise stated.
* Please remember to look at and sign your child's conduct card every night and send the card back to school every day. I use these cards so that you will know how your child's conduct is at school every day.
* Remember to look in your child's homework folder every night for letters or announcements that are sent home. All papers should be removed from the folders daily. The only papers that should be returned to the school every day are the homework papers and the conduct cards.
