Welcome to Mrs. Macaulay's 6th grade Class!

Please continue to monitor progress reports that come home every Friday, especially the yellow ones with the grades. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to return it with a note attached.

Students should be reading an AR book every night in addition to their homework or unfinished class work. The deadline for testing for 1st quarter AR is October 17th. Our first AR assembly is scheduled for Thursday, October 30th. Students who qualify will receive a notice regarding the assembly after the 17th.

I appreciate you and your child's efforts regarding attendance. In 6th grade the work is very difficult and we move at a very quick pace so it is important that students miss as few days as possible. I appreciate calls for work and will make every effort to provide you with missing assignments to pick up in the office on the day missed.

First quarter conferences will be held the week of November 3rd to November 7th. If you signed up for a conference at "Back to School" night, then I will send home a reminder at the end of October. For any parent who didn't sign up for a conference, I will send home a sign-up sheet also at the end of October.

CST testing week is April 20th through April 24th.
