Dear Parents,
4ht grade is a lot of fun. I always tell my students that 4th grade teachers teach almost the same curriculum as 3rd grade teachers except that we add just a little more skills. For example, my students need to know their time tables because division involves bigger numbers. Therefore, make sure your son/daughter knows the time tables.
Also, I would like to emphasize the importance of parent/teacher communication. Please, if you have questions or concerns call the school after students are dismiss and have the office transfer your phone call to my classroom. Also, you can send notes to school.
Homework is very important to me since not only teaches the students to be responsible but it is a review of what we are doing in the classroom. Besides, homework helps them for every test that we have in class. Thus make sure your child turns in his/her homework.
