Sixth grade is a challenging year. The standards are high and often difficult. Please feel free to call me if you need any information on what your child is expected to learn.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOUR CHILD COMES TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY ON TIME THAT WEEK. PLEASE DON'T SCHEDULE ANY MORNING APPOINTMENTS THEN.

To attend the 6th grade party on the last day of school, your child must: 1) Have a "C" average for the 4th quarter (No "F's");
2) Have no lower than a "C" in conduct for the 4th
quarter; and
3) Have no serious referrals or suspensions for the 4th
quarter.
We hope all 6th graders will be able to attend.
REMINDER: Your child has ASSIGNED homework Monday-Thursday, sometimes Friday. Any classwork that your child hasn't finished during the day is also homework. If s/he says that it's done, ask to see it. Too many papers are coming in unfinished or with no names. Unfinished = lower grade. No name = no credit.
