Welcome to Mrs. Aleu de Ridley's Class
Our goal this year is to become proficient readers. We work hard every day at school in improving our decoding skills, fluency and comprehension in reading.
At home we need to reinforce these skills by reading daily with/to our family for at least 20 minutes.
Homework is planned to extend our Language Arts and Math skills. It gives parents a chance to connect with our work at school and help their children.
Homework is sent on Monday and returned on Friday. It includes a reading log that is an essential part of homework completion.
I love to have the opportunity to lead my students to literacy. I have experienced great success over the years when students, parents and teacher work together in achieving academic success.
